At MTV MAMA Awards 2015, Nigerian artists had a field
day as they cleared most of the major awards but beyond winning awards,
there were some highlights of the event that you must not miss.

Davido Adeleke, AKA Davido, of HKN Gang records won the 2015 MTV Africa Music Award for ‘Best Male Act’ for the second year running.

Davido Adeleke, AKA Davido, of HKN Gang records won the 2015 MTV Africa Music Award for ‘Best Male Act’ for the second year running.
The 22-year old ‘Fans Mi’ crooner got on stage and gave a very emotional acceptance speech.
Davido gave a shout out to his 2-months old daughter saying: “Daddy is bringing home a toy.”
This look so much like American rapper, Jay Z’s acceptance speech at the 2014 Grammy awards when he said to his daughter, Blue Ivy, “I want to tell Blue, look, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you!”
Davido beats other African artistes like South African rapper AKA, Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Nigeria’s very own Wizkid and Tanzania’s Diamond to take home the award.
