HOW WE PLAN TO CRIPPLE NIGERIA IF NnAMDI KANU IS NOT RELEASE -MASSOB
A splinter group of the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) has said it will deploy civil protests similar to the kind used during the emancipation struggle of Ghandi of India & Martin Luther King Jr. to cripple Nigeria, if Nnamdi Kanu is not released in seven days.
The group disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by its Director of Information, Comrade Uche Madu,
According to Madu, MASSOB’s action will be sequel to the nationwide protest embarked by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Friday, demanding the release of Kanu and pledged full support to the protest by the IPOB, stressing that they would not relent till their agitation is actualized.
He also expressed regrets that the Southeast governors, Igbo senators, monarchs as well as leaders are not identifying with the MASSOB struggle.
The MASSOB Information Director also warned that his group would hold the Igbo governors and senators to account, if Kanu is not released.
He said: “MASSOB will unleash the potency of non-violence which includes civil disobedience, civil unrest, non-cooperation, civil/massive boycott as was done during the emancipation struggle of Ghandi of India & Martin Luther King junior.
“For the sake of Biafra’s love for our fatherland and the spirit of brotherhood, MASSOB shall continue to identify with genuine and selfless Biafra agitation as showcased in Nnamdi Kanu.
“Only some few disgruntled elements and Abuja errand boys from eastern region are always against Biafra. MASSOB shall hold Igbo governors, National Assembly members, traditional rulers and opinion leaders heavily responsible if Nnamdi Kanu is not released coming week.
“The continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will worsen the already fragile security situation in Nigeria. Factional MASSOB, IPOB and other genuine groups are now ready,” Madu stated.

THE EKO IDUMOTA STRUGGLE

THE EKO IDUMOTA STRUGGLE

I don't know why it took me so long to realise this but I went to the popular Eko/Idumota with my shugalee (mum) on Saturday: Take this advice from me though,’never follow your mum to the market’.I spent the entire day in the market, walking to and fro, tired, angry and hungry. I was so irritated: people pushed me with dirty hands, stepped on me and they were so lousy , lacked courtesy, etc.. I WAS IRRITATED!!!!.We got to a particular place where my mum wanted to get souvenirs and then I sat down because it was like i was going to faint plus I felt I had like 500ltrs of germs on me.While she was checking out what they had in the store, i don’t know but in my irritation, my eyes suddenly opened, my sight became clearer and my ears were so sharp they could hear the conversations of people miles away. I sat and then saw how people struggled just to make a living. I saw people ready to kill themselves just because of “ordinary 20naira ” difference. Two things touched me that day though
THE FIRST: I saw women who would carry heavy neck breaking loads on their heads for people (alabaru) for just 200naira and those who owned the load were acting like bosses. Like the so called Alabaru were camels or dogs. One of the alabaru’s suddenly walked up to where I was and said sadly “I haven't carried any load today, who did I offend God”. I was in so much pity that I almost cried.
THE SECOND:I saw a pregnant woman who looked like she would give birth anytime soon, working like ..I can’t even explain it but I really pitied her and her unborn child. She was struggling in PAINS and then I thought I’ve been ungrateful for all I have.
I remembered I would get pissed at my parents for not getting me super expensive things or for not driving me to school or for giving me rice without biiiggg meat or for not allowing me use expensive phones and so many other stupid reasons I cant even remember.
They would cook at home, and I would throw the food away simply because its not what I asked for but yet people were eating from the floor
My mum will buy clothes for me and I’ll reject it but people wore rags, some even wear the same cloth for 7days(wash and wear)
You even need to see where they eat or sell…dirty environments with gutters blocked and smelling like…………………..and I have a comfortable dinning!
I was like there are people here who don't have up to a quarter of what I have and yet I complain that God is unfair..then felt that I really need to be slapped!!!!
Honestly I used to be a CEO when it comes to complaining but ever since then I’ve been really grateful. I can afford to buy cold stone ice cream and Domino pizza or even get some expensive wears and shoes and still complain that its not enough but yet this people have to sweat real hard before they get ordinary 20naira just to buy one wrap of amala! JESUS!!!!.
Things like these are happening and then there are some people on social media fighting over age, mansions, sexual accusations, brand names, girlfriends that are not even worth it,blabla and so many others like that.
The most anoying thing is we devaluate the human person alot.Just because people don't have what we have, we look down on them forgetting that its not by their own making and it is the same God that gives that also Takes!
I write this with much pain to see people suffer this much just for daily bread and I’ll be angry because they didn't get me kfc chicken! I felt ashamed!
Oh Lord This is me “yormee’’ saying “I know I’ve been too spoilt and ungrateful pls have mercy on me and help me to give to the needy.Help us also not to devaluate the human person. Change the status of the needy oh LORD.Finally Lord, help those self centred people to see what I’ve seen and let them CHANGE!!!

HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM

HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM

On the street..
By the road sides..
Under the scorching heat..
Or terrential rain..
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM
In faded attires..
And worn out shoes…
That as see better days..
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM
Clutching their flies..
Under their armpit..
Like a prized treasure..
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM
At cyber cafes..
And newspaper stand..
Hunting for news…
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM
Their emaciated bodies..
Their haunted look…
The face of the future…
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM
The next tap you might get..
From behind your right  shoulder ..
May be one of them..
HAVE YOU NOTICED THEM!!!
Who are this people…
AN UNEMPLOYED GRATUATE!!!!!!!!!

Foreign Reserve Has Risen By $2.89b In One Month Under Buhari – CBN Governor

                change............

The Governor of the Central Bank of Ni‎geria, Godwin Emefiele, on Wednesday disclosed that the current administration under President Muhammud Buhari has been able to increase Nigeria’s foreign reserve from $29 billion to $31.89 billion one month.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan left $29 billion in Nigeria’s foreign reserve.
Emefiele, who paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, frowned at the way and manner officials of the past administration granted import waivers to their cronies and friends on various products such as rice and sugar.
He pleaded with the 8th Senate to go the extra mile to ensure that all revenue losses as a result of arbitrary waivers and concessions are fully recovered.
In his words: “Following the drop in crude prices as high as 45 per cent and the fact that we had to depreciate our currency from N155 to N197, we also had to take certain decisions to ensure that we keep our reserve still looking good.
“I commend the President, Muhammadu Buhari, for his dogged approach that all leakages will be blocked.
“With those singular efforts and strong determination, we have seen our foreign reserves moving from $29 billion when His Excellency took office on the 29th of May to $31.89 billion.”
In his comment on the what transpired at the closed door session, Emefile told newsmen: “We briefed the Senate extensively on all the actions we have taken and other things that we are going to do to continue to strengthen the Nigerian economy, make it possible for our people to create jobs for our people.
“And we are saying if we cannot employ people, what action are we going to take to ensure those who have entrepreneurial skills create jobs for themselves and for other people?
“I am delighted to mention to you that the Senate, after almost about three hours deliberation, has graciously endorsed our actions today for everything that we have done.
“But I want to assure Nigerians that whatever action we have taken is done in the interest of our country.
“And I say that our reserve is our commonwealth and we have a right to protect our foreign reserve.
“We are going to continue to avoid situation where speculators and round trippers come into the country and think of how they can take advantage of what is happening as a result in the drop in food prices to plunder our reserves”
